JT’s Guide: How to Grow Back Your Brows
We’ve all been there—one bad wax or one over-zealous plucking session can leave your brows looking a little thin. If your brows have "holes" or the ends have been cut off, don't panic! Your hair follicles just need a little respect and time. Follow my professional steps to get your thickness back:
1. Put Down the Tweezers!
This is the hardest part, but it’s the most important. You must commit to a "no-pluck zone" for at least 6 to 8 weeks. Even those stray hairs that look messy are part of the growth cycle. Let them grow so I can see your natural pattern the next time you're in my chair.
2. Stimulate the Follicle
Every night, give your brows a little "workout." Use a clean spoolie brush to gently brush your brow hairs. This increases blood flow to the area, which encourages growth. You can also apply a tiny drop of castor oil or a dedicated brow serum to keep the skin hydrated and the hair strong.
3. Fake It Until You Make It
While you wait for the hair to return, use the LAMIK Celebrity Brow Kit.
The Trick: Use the brow powder to lightly "shadow" in the gaps.
Why it works: Because it’s a powder, it looks like a natural shadow behind your existing hair, rather than a harsh pencil line. It hides the "holes" without stopping the hair from growing.
4. Highlight for Distraction
If you feel like your brows look messy while growing in, use your LAMIK Brighten Cream. Apply it just under the arch. This draws the eye to the clean highlight and away from any "stray" hairs that are currently growing back in.
5. Trust the Professional
When you are ready for a cleanup, do not do it yourself. Come see me! I will perform a "Micro-Trim" and shape, ensuring we only remove what is absolutely necessary while protecting the new growth we worked so hard to get.
JT’s Pro-Tip:
Patience is a beauty secret. Your brows didn't disappear overnight, and they won't grow back overnight—but with the right products and a little discipline, we will get your arch back!
