There is nothing quite like a family tradition to make you realize how fast time flies. We headed out to the Austin Trail of Lights, and it was so special because my friend’s boys have the exact same age difference as me and my brother. Watching them navigate the trails together felt like looking at a mirror of our own childhood.
Since I grew up in Austin, I’ve been to the Trail of Lights more times than I can count. But if you know Austin, you know the weather is a total wild card. The night we went, it was that specific kind of Texas "cold"—not freezing, but crisp enough that you could feel the moisture being sucked right out of your skin.
I personally treat the skin on my body with the same respect as my face. I daily cleanse, tone, and moisturize. When I work out, I’ll even shower twice a day to make sure sweat isn't sitting on my skin. It sounds like a lot, but it’s what I have to do to keep my eczema from flaring up and breaking out.
