From Boardroom to Bold: The Work-to-Play Makeup Transition

We all have those days where we have to go straight from a professional meeting to a dinner date or a night out with friends. You don't have to wash your face and start over! You can simply take the foundation you already have and build on it to create a high-impact, "after-five" look.

In my "Makeup 101" class, I showed Jasmine how to take her clean, professional LAMIK routine to the next level using a beautiful fall-inspired green palette [00:50].

Step 1: Redefining the Frame

Even if you filled your brows in the morning, a night look requires a bit more definition.

The Fill: Use the Celebrity Brow Kit with South Side brow powder to sharpen the shape [01:01].
The Pop: Highlight underneath with Brightening Cream K34 (her skin tone match) to clean up the arch and hide any stray hairs [01:39]. To give it that "extra pop" for the night, dab a tiny bit of K33 (one shade lighter) right at the very arch [04:33].

Step 2: The Fall Green "Halo"

Green is a stunning choice for darker skin tones, especially in the fall. We used three different shades to create depth:

Jolly Mood: A bright, fun green. Dab this all over the eyelid [02:42].
Mulah: A matte, deep green. Use this in the crease with a side-to-side motion to create a "cut crease" effect that defines the eye [03:26].
Nightlife: A dark, emerald green. Use this with an angled brush on the lower lash line for a seductive, smoky finish [06:45]. JT Pro Tip: If your eyes water while doing under-eye liner, just keep going! Once they settle, you can easily clean up any fallout with a bit of toner on a cotton pad [07:04].

Step 3: Repurposing Your Products

You don't always need a million products. You can use what you already have in your kit for new purposes:

Brow Powder as Contour: I used the South Side brow powder (the same one used for Jasmine's eyebrows) to contour underneath her cheekbones for a sharp, sculpted look [09:19].
Blush as Highlight: I used I-285 Blush on the top of the cheekbones to create a radiant highlight before adding the contour [08:52].
