The "Wink-Wink" Eye: A Seductive Valentine’s Tutorial

Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to experiment with more dramatic, alluring makeup. JT and Dena demonstrate how to use purple tones—the signature color of Dena’s lingerie line—to create a look that makes your eyes truly appeal to the man in your life.

1. High-Arch Brows

A seductive eye starts with a lifted, clean brow.

  • The "Lifting" Secret: JT uses a Brightening Cream one shade lighter than Dena's skin tone to outline the brows.

  • The Benefit: This highlights the arch and creates a visible "lift," allowing you to truly "talk with your eyes" during a romantic evening.

2. The Purple Gradient

Purple is a universally flattering color for depth and romance.

  • Lid Base: JT first applies the Brightening Cream all over the lid as a base to help the high-pigment colors stand out even more.

  • The Lid: Using an oval tip brush, JT dabs a lighter purple called "Retro" across the lid.

  • The Crease: To add the "seductive" intensity, she uses a slanted tip brush to blend a dark purple called "Cruise" into the crease.

  • Pro-Tip: Blend from the outer crease all the way into the tear duct in a side-to-side motion for a seamless transition.

3. Defining the Gaze

  • The Lash Guard: To keep the eyelashes clean while applying high-pigment "Eye Decor," JT uses a specialized Lash Guard tool.

  • Inner Eye Definition: Dazzle Black is applied to the very inside of the eye to ground the purple tones.

  • The Upper Lash Line: Onyx Liquid Eyeliner is used to define the top lashes without being overly heavy.

  • Lower Lash Magic: Instead of thick clumps, JT lightly dabs mascara on the bottom lashes to make them appear longer and more defined.

4. The Natural Finish

Because the eyes are so dramatic, the rest of the face is kept natural.

Get the Look: A Step-by-Step Guide Ready to recreate this stunning makeup look? Here’s a breakdown of the products and techniques we used.
