Behind the Scenes: Dramatic "Mystic Dark" Video Makeup with Deandre Wright

In this special behind-the-scenes session, JT heads to the set of singer Deandre Wright's music video shoot for her new song, "Love Thing". The song is a dramatic tale of heartbreak, and the makeup needs to reflect that intensity—mysterious, dark, and slightly mystical for a shoot taking place in the woods.

1. Training the "Video-Ready" Brow

Before the cameras roll, a strong frame for the face is essential.

The Transformation: Deandre shares how JT helped "train" her brows from a fully grown-out state to a fabulous, high-definition arch over several weeks.
The Tools: JT uses the Celebrity Brow Kit (as seen in Essence and InStyle) and highlights the arch with k33 Brightening Cream for a sharp, highlighted look that pops on film.

2. The "Semi-Smokey" Eye (Without the Black!)
