Mastering the Grow-Out: How to Fill in Thick Brows

We’ve all been there—your brows are growing out, you’re between appointments, and you’re starting to see those stray hairs [00:42]. JT shares her personal technique for using the Celebrity Brow Kit to achieve almost any shape, even if you’re blessed with naturally thick brows or a "unibrow" [00:28, 00:33].

Step 1: Shape with "West Side"

JT begins by using the West Side brow powder. This auburn-red shade helps align her brow color with her hair color [00:52, 00:58].

  • Technique: Trace from the inside of the eyebrow up into the arch and down around the tail [01:04, 01:25]. This creates the initial structure and definition.

Step 2: Lighten and Fill with "East Side"

Next, she layers on East Side, a honey blonde powder [01:31].

  • The "Nose Rule": Keep your angled brush pointed in toward your nose while brushing the powder into the hairs [01:37, 01:43]. This lightens the overall look while making the brows appear thicker and more defined [01:49, 01:56].

Step 3: Blend and Distribute

After applying both powders, use a brow brush to distribute the hairs and blend the two shades together for a natural finish [02:00, 02:12].

Step 4: The Miracle Clean-Up

This is the secret weapon for brows that need a wax! JT uses K32 Brightening Cream, a shade lighter than her skin tone [02:24].

  • Conceal & Highlight: Apply a heavy amount of the cream directly underneath the brow. This covers up stray hairs while providing an instant highlight [02:29, 02:40].

  • The Warmth Factor: Use your finger to blend. The warmth from your skin helps the cream melt into your face, ensuring your eyeshadow and brows blend seamlessly [03:00, 03:06].
