Royalty & Resilience: A Nighttime Reveal with Queen Brittany

What does "Natural Beauty" really mean? For Brittany, Nuzri Top Natural Beauty Queen, it isn't something you find on a TV screen. As she told me in our recent sit-down, "Beauty is waking up knowing I can do it... it’s who you are on the inside" [01:54].

Brittany has navigated life with adult acne and skin sensitivities [02:18], but she hasn't let that stop her from taking the stage or serving her community. In this tutorial, I show you how to take that inner confidence and pair it with a dramatic, runway-ready look featuring one of my favorite bold shades: New Day.

The "7 Steps to Reveal" Mastery

To get Brittany ready for her next gala or photo shoot, we followed the LAMIK 7 Steps, focusing on how to handle high-pigment colors on olive skin tones.

1. The Canvas: Prep & Prime

  • yes First: I always start with the eyes [08:13]. That way, if any dark purple shadow falls, we can clean it up before applying foundation.

  • Problem Area Prep: To cover Brittany's acne marks for the camera, I dabbed Brightening Cream K30 over the spots with my finger [09:47] before following with the M22 Full Coverage Foundation.

  • Moisture is Key: Even with oily or acne-prone skin, you must moisturize! I used our oil-free mattifying moisturizer to prep her skin and act as a primer [09:21].

2. The Drama: "Perk It Up" & "New Day"

  • The Eyes: We used a soft pink called "Does It Easy" on the lid [05:40], then created a deep crease using a rich purple called "Perk It Up" [06:03]. This "side-to-side" motion creates a dramatic, rounded shape perfect for the stage.

  • The Contour Trick: Here is a pro secret—I actually used that same Perk It Up purple eyeshadow underneath her cheekbones to contour her face [12:01]! It creates a unique, high-fashion depth that traditional bronzers can't match.

  • The Statement Lip: We finished with New Day, a deep, moisture-rich purple lipstick [13:05]. To make it pop and stay put, I lined her lips first with our Chocolate Lip Liner [12:32].
