1. Find Your Natural Light

The best light for makeup matching is indirect sunlight.

Do: Face a window during the daytime. The light should be hitting your face directly, not coming from behind you.
Don't: Use bathroom lights or overhead yellow bulbs, as these create shadows and change the "temperature" of your skin tone.

2. Check Your Background

Stand in front of a neutral-colored wall (white, beige, or light gray). Brightly colored walls or busy patterns can reflect color onto your skin, making it harder for me to see your true undertones.

3. Face the Camera Clean

No Makeup: Please ensure your skin is completely clean. We want to match your skin, not your current foundation!
Neck Visibility: Make sure your neck and upper chest are visible in the photo. We always want to ensure your foundation blends seamlessly from your jawline down.

4. Use the "Triple Shot" Method

Send me three photos to be safe:

One facing the window directly.
One at a slight 45-degree angle.
One close-up of your jawline.
