Brows for Every Beauty: The LAMIK Celebrity Brow Secret

"Brows, brows, brows!" It’s the number one question I get asked as a makeup artist. Everyone wants that perfectly manicured look, but the secret isn't about drawing on a new face—it’s about revealing the beauty you already have.

In my latest tutorial, I show you how to use the LAMIK Brow Kit to handle two very different challenges: filling in sparse brows and taming thick ones.

1. For the Sparse Brow: Finding Your Frame

If you feel like your brows have disappeared over time, don't reach for a harsh pencil. That's how you end up with "clown" brows! Instead, follow these steps:

Trust the Bone: I always feel for the client’s brow bone [01:51]. That is your roadmap. Your powder should live exactly where your bone is—not way above or below it.
The Gradual Fill: Using the South Side Brow Powder (a perfect dark brown), I brush it on lightly [01:44]. Redip your brush for more pigment rather than trying to go dark all at once.
The Highlight: Use the Brightening Cream (like shade K32) to go right under the brow [03:31]. This covers stray hairs and makes the brow look freshly waxed without the pain!

2. For the Thick Brow: Taming the Texture

For my ladies with naturally thick brows, it’s all about the "manicure" look. You want them to look intentional, not "stuck on."

Brush First: Always brush your hairs into place before applying product [06:21].
Define, Don't Draw: Use a lighter touch with the brow powder just to fill in any tiny gaps and reinforce the shape your model already loves [06:31].
The Pointed Finish: If you like a sharp "tail" on your brow, you can manipulate the Brightening Cream to pull the end of your brow into a clean point [08:08].

💡 JT’s Pro Tips from the Video

Clean Your Tools: Always clean your brush between the powder and the cream [03:02]. You don't want to turn your Brightening Cream brown! I like to use a little toner on a cloth to keep my brush fresh.
The Finger Blend: If your highlight looks a little heavy against your eyeshadow, use your finger to lightly tap and blend the two together for a seamless finish [09:11].
