My mom was truly the best, and I miss her like crazy every single day. She was my biggest supporter and my favorite travel partner, taking me on countless trips that I’ll never forget.

One of my absolute favorites was our trip to California. We went to the 20th Century Fox Lot for a table reading of Modern Family. Having worked on sets myself, I had never seen one that massive! It was inspiring and so much fun—maybe one day I’ll have the joy of working on a production of that scale.

More Than Just Sightseeing

Looking back at these photos, I’m reminded of how much we packed into that trip:

First Tastes: That trip was one of my first times having Ramen, and now it has grown to be one of my favorite meals!

Hollywood Quirks: I’ll never forget seeing the dogs decorated so beautifully right on the Hollywood Stars.
Studio Magic: We went to a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where I got a cookbook that I still love and use to this day.

Retail Therapy: Of course, we couldn't resist doing a little shopping!

The Greatest Gift

While the sets and the celebrities were exciting, the best part of the entire trip was simply the one-on-one time I got to spend with my mom. She taught me to dream big, work hard, and enjoy the journey.
