Red Carpet Ready: Recreating JLo’s Met Gala 2015 Glow

Did you see the red carpet at the 2015 Met Gala? One look that everyone couldn't stop talking about was Jennifer Lopez. She wore that stunning red dragon dress, and her makeup was the definition of flawless. It was bronzed, defined, and featured a beautiful "red halo" eye that perfectly complemented her dress.

Today, I'm showing you how to achieve this high-fashion look using simple, quick steps [00:13]. You don't need to be a celebrity to look like one!

Step 1: Defined Brows

JLo’s look starts with a defined brow.

Outline & Highlight: Use Brightening Cream K33 (matches my skin tone) to highlight right under the brow [00:44]. Then, use K34 (slightly darker) on top to outline and add definition [00:57].
The Color: I used a mix of East Side and West Side brow powders to match my natural hair color without making the brows look heavy [01:29].

Step 2: The Red "Halo" Eye

This is the centerpiece of the look—a golden lid with a soft red contour.

The Base: Always base your lids with K33 Brightening Cream. JT Pro Tip: Use your finger! The warmth from your hand helps the cream spread evenly and helps your shadow stick all day [01:39].
The Shadow: Apply "Dewy" (a metallic gold) all over the lid [02:08].
The Halo: Mix "Apple Paint" (bright red) with "Dewy" and blend it into the crease to create that red halo effect JLo is famous for [02:37].

Step 3: Bronzed & Defined Cheeks

JLo is the queen of the glow! To get her defined cheekbones:

Contour: Use West Side brow powder with a contour brush and sweep it from below your cheekbone up to your hairline [07:13].
Highlighter: Dab a little "Dewy" on the very top of your cheekbones for that metallic pop [07:59].
The Finish: Sweep "Extravagant Bronzer" down your nose, chin, jawline, and hairline for an overall golden look [08:49].
