A Personal Update: The Beauty of the Pivot

I want to be real with you all. As some of you know, I took a huge leap of faith, moved back to Austin, and opened my own shop. Reaching my goals has been my main focus for a long time, but four months into salon ownership, I realized something important: I needed to take a step back.

Being in Austin was the right move for my heart—I missed my friends and family too much. But I’ve realized that I’m not ready for shop ownership just yet, and that is okay. I’ve closed my shop in Round Rock and am now working full-time at a wax studio here in Austin.

Loving yourself enough to look your best also means loving yourself enough to do what is right for your life. I’m still the same JeTara, still obsessed with your beauty, and still here to help you glow!
