The Red Lip and Yellow Eye Tutorial

You all know that yellow is my favorite color—it’s the color of sunshine, joy, and energy! But many women are afraid to wear it on their eyes. Today, I’m showing you how to rock a stunning yellow eye paired with a classic red lip for a look that is guaranteed to turn heads.

This look is about confidence. It’s about being bold. It’s about being LAMIK.

Step 1: The Frame (Brows)

Start by filling in your brows with your hair-tone brow color. Use your natural concealer to clean up the edges. For that extra "wow" factor, add a Pearl White highlight right under the brow to lift the eye.

Step 2: The Sunshine (Yellow Eye)

The Base: Prep your lids with your skin-tone concealer.
The Lid: Apply a matte yellow eye-shadow all over the lid.
The Crease: Take a tan-yellow shade and blend from the crease up toward the brow bone.
The Blend: To merge your highlight and your color, apply a shimmer yellow to your brow bone. This creates a seamless, glowing transition!

Step 3: The Pop (Yellow Liner)

Keep the theme going! Line both your top and bottom lash lines with a yellow pencil. This keeps the look bright and modern. You can use a yellow powder with your brow duo brush, instead of buying a extra pencil.

Step 4: The Lashes

Apply a natural strip lash or a few coats of mascara. The black of the lashes will look incredible against the bright yellow background.

Step 5: The Reset (Skin Prep)

Yellow can show fallout, so clean under your eyes with toner and re-apply moisturizer before your foundation. Apply your LAMIK Foundation and Powder for that flawless finish.

Step 6: The Glow (Cheeks & Bronze)

Blush: Apply a soft brown to your cheekbones.
Highlight: Use a brown bronze to highlight the tops of your cheeks, down the bridge of your nose, your chin, and the top of your forehead. This gives you a "sun-kissed" warmth.

Step 7: The Statement (True Red Lip)

Finish the look with a True Red Lip Color. Outline with a natural red liner first to ensure your edges are crisp.
