In the world of beauty, there is one rule that stands above the rest: Every aspect of your look is completely up to you. It doesn't matter what the current trends are, what the magazines say, or what everyone around you is doing. All that matters is the look you want, achieving it, and—most importantly—loving it. Beauty is about your personal power and the confidence you feel when you look in the mirror.

The Client Spotlight: Customizing the "Pop"

I had a client come to see me who knew exactly what she wanted. She isn’t a fan of eyebrows that are filled in too big, too dark, or overly defined. That’s her personal style preference, and I love that!

Instead, she loves an extra highlight to make her natural brow shape really pop. To achieve her requested look, we used a specific technique with my favorite LAMIK products:

The Highlight: We used LAMIK Brow Sculpting Cream about two shades lighter than her skin tone. Applying this around the brow gave her that "extra pop" and brightness she was looking for without making the brow itself feel heavy.
The Definition: I used LAMIK Dark Brown Brow Powder very lightly just to fill in the gaps and give her brows a soft, natural frame.

The result? She felt like herself, just enhanced.

Your Face, Your Rules

Remember, it is your face and your brows. Do what you want! Don't let anyone stop you, shame you, or tell you that your preferences are "wrong" because they don't fit a certain trend.

If you want bold brows, go for it. If you want a soft highlight and nothing else, do that! Now, pick up your brow brush and get to doing your brows exactly how you like them.
