Everyone should know how to do a basic highlight and contour. This trick is key to helping you change your look quick and easy. Follow these steps to get a basic highlight and contour.
CHEEKS: To contour your cheek use a darker than skin tone color shade under your cheek bone using a blush brush. Draw a light triangle. How dark you go is up to you, just make sure to blend.
Tip: You can use a shimmer or matte color. Less is more, build your color. It is easier to add color than remove.
NOSE: Shade the side your nose and under your nice, using a dome brush or flat fan brush. Use a matte color the is a little dark than your skin tone. Put a lighter than tone color down your nose to highlight.
CHEEK BONES: Highlight the top of your cheek bones, middle of your forehead, center of your nose and above your lip with a lighter that skin tone color. You can use a matte or shimmer color.
Tips: You can also put a little pit on the out side of your eyes and under your eyes to open your eyes.
Tip: When blending your makeup, put a little bit of a darker than skin tone color in your temples and under jawline. This will blend your makeup and keep you for looking on color or striped.
LIPS: Apply your highlight slightly around the lip line, this will enhance the shape of the lips.
Make your lips look bigger by softly shading the small area between the top of your lip and the tip of your nose. Use a slightly dark than skin tone color and a dome brush.
Always check the ingredients before using a new product. Your skin is the largest organ. Remember, some of what you put on your skin can be absorbed into your bloodstream
