Using a Eyelash Curl

Here's how to properly use an eyelash curler for a perfect lift.

Prep Your Tools: Make sure both your eyelash curler and your natural lashes are clean. Wash the curler with soap and water and ensure your lashes are free of any mascara or residue.
Position the Curler: Look down and, using one hand, gently lift your eyebrow and eyelid.
Get to the Root: Push the eyelash curler as close to the root of your lashes as possible without touching the skin.
Curl: Squeeze the curler gently but firmly for a few seconds, then release.
Finish: Apply your favorite mascara to hold the curl, or apply false lashes if desired.

Pro Tip: Avoid using an eyelash curler on false lashes or lashes with heavy mascara, as this can cause them to stick, crimp, or even break.
