Rome-Inspired Makeup: A Step-by-Step Guide 🏛️

This makeup look is all about fresh skin, defined brows, and a touch of color. Follow these steps to achieve a timeless, Roman-like beauty.

Eyes and Brows

Brows: Fill in your brows using a hair-tone color, sticking to reds and browns. The goal is a full, thick brow with a soft arch. If your brows need shaping, use a bit of concealer or foundation to define the arch. Try The LAMIK Revelation Brow Duo.
Highlight: Use a white color to highlight just the brow arch for a subtle lift.
Base: Cover your entire eyelid, from lash line to brow, with your natural concealer tone.
Set: Set the concealer with a powder that matches your skin tone.
Contour: Contour your eye crease with a taupe brown color to add natural-looking depth.
Liner: Use a brown-black eye color to lightly line your top lid along the lash line. Repeat on your bottom lashes with a soft matte brown-black.
Lashes: Curl your lashes and apply mascara.
Clean-up: If your eye makeup is a bit messy, use a cotton swab and some toner for easy clean-up. Remember, fresh, clean skin was highly valued in this era.

Face and Lips

Face: Apply a light layer of powder all over your face, skipping heavy foundation. A dewy finish is perfectly acceptable and adds to the natural look.
