The Goddess Tutorial
Step 1: The Brows Lightly fill in your brows, but skip the highlight this time. If your brows need a little cleanup, use your concealer or foundation to lightly shape them. Aim for a light, natural arch—the goal is a classic shape that isn't overly thick or dramatic.
Step 2: The Eye Base To create a smooth canvas, cover your entire eye area—from the lash line all the way up to the brow line—with your skin-tone concealer.
Step 3: Lock it In Set that concealer with your matching skin-tone powder. This creates a matte, velvety base for your colors.
Step 4: The Upper Lid Using a dark matte green, lightly line your top lid right at the lash line. Green is a beautiful, earthy alternative to black that adds mystery to the eyes.
Step 5: The Lower Lash & Smudge Line your bottom lashes with a soft matte black. Now, here is the key: Smudge it! We want a soft, smoky effect rather than a harsh line.
Step 6: The "Perfectly Imperfect" Face If your eye makeup is a little "messy," don't worry! That’s part of the Goddess charm. Apply your foundation and powder, keeping the overall tone warm. Skip the highlighter for this look; we want the skin to look naturally sun-kissed and matte.
Step 7: The Glow Apply a rose-brown blush specifically to the apples of your cheeks. This gives you that "just came in from the garden" flush.
Step 8: The Lips Finish with a reddish-brown lip color. To keep it looking soft and ancient-inspired, keep the edges undefined. Skip the sharp liner and let the color melt into your lips.
JT’s Styling Tip
"The Goddess isn't worried about being perfect. She is confident and natural. If your liner smudges a bit throughout the day, embrace it! It only adds to the vibe."
