In my work as a beauty expert since 2006, I meet so many women who are looking to enhance their natural radiance. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned in my beauty career is this: "Respect yourself and respect others." When you respect yourself, you take the time to pour into your own self-care; when you respect others, you bring a positive energy into every space you enter.

To help you match that inner light, I’m sharing one of my favorite "pro-tips" for using highlighters. Highlighting isn't just about sparkle—it’s about strategic placement to pull your best features forward!

Where to Apply the Glow

Follow my go-to map for placing highlighter to get that flawless, sculpted finish:

The Lips (Cupid's Bow): I love applying a tiny bit at the top of the lip and just under the bottom lip. It’s an instant trick to make your pout look fuller!
The Brow Bones: Dusting a little light under your brow arch gives the face an instant "lift" and opens up the eyes.
The Cheekbones: This is the ultimate "glow" spot. Apply it to the very top of your cheekbones to define your bone structure.
The Bridge of the Nose: A thin, soft line down the center of your nose streamlines your profile for a more defined look.
The Inner Eye: This is my favorite "secret weapon." A touch of light in the inner corners makes you look refreshed and bright-eyed—even on your busiest days!

A Pro-Tip from JT

The goal of highlighting is to look like you are glowing from the inside out. I always suggest starting with a small amount of LAMIK True Mineral Powder and building it up. When you respect the technique, the results are always stunning!
