An Honest Update

They say "Happiness is a journey, not a destination," but sometimes that journey takes us through paths we didn't expect.

I took a leap of faith and opened my own mini salon. I was so excited, but if I’m being completely honest with you all: The salon didn't work out. I was able to keep the doors open for four months, but I realized too late that I didn't have a solid plan in place. I felt lost, made a quick decision, and even when I saw it wasn't working, I pushed through until I couldn't anymore.

Where I Am Now

Closing those doors was hard, but I haven't stopped moving. To stay on my feet and keep growing, I’ve taken on roles at The Family Christian Store and European Wax Center.

While the physical location of Beauty By JeTara may have failed for now, my career in beauty is still growing. I am learning, I am pivoting, and I am gaining new skills every single day.

The Vision Remains

Beauty By JeTara isn't gone; it’s just evolving. One day, when the time is right and the plan is solid, I will reopen those doors. Until then, the dream is still very much alive.
