Step 1: Prep the Canvas

You can't paint a masterpiece on a rough surface! Start by exfoliating your lips. This removes dry skin and ensures your lip color applies smoothly without flaking.

Step 2: Hydrate and Prime

Apply a light oil to your lips to lock in moisture. To ensure your makeup doesn't "slide," blot your lips with a tissue until they feel hydrated but dry to the touch.

Step 3: Neutralize the Tone

To make your Ombré colors really pop, you need an even base. Apply a small amount of concealer all over your lips. This acts as a primer, neutralizing your natural lip color so the lipstick shades show up true to their pigment.

Step 4: The Frame (Dark)

Outline your natural lip line using a lip liner or lipstick that is darker than your main lip color. This creates the depth and structure that defines the Ombré look. Don't be afraid to go a little bolder here!
