The Special Event Reveal

"You are Beauty. Walk like you know it!"

When you walk into a room, your confidence should reach people before you even speak. My favorite mantra for my clients is: "You are Beauty. Walk like you know it!" Recently, I had a client getting ready for a special event. She wanted a "natural" look, but with enough presence to ensure everyone knew she was wearing a professional beat. We went for a flawless, "lit-from-within" glow.

Here are the 7 steps to recreate this event-ready look:

Step 1: The Frame

We defined her face using the LAMIK Brow Kit. A crisp brow is the foundation of any special event look. We used the brow powder for shape and the highlight cream to give her that instant "brow lift."

Step 2: Metallic Glow

For the eyes, we wanted shimmer without being overwhelming. We mixed a Golden Metal shade with a Tan Eye Décor and applied it all over her eyelid. This combination catches the light beautifully every time you blink!

Step 3: Define the Gaze

To give her eyes that "pop," we used a Liquid Eyeliner Pen on the top for a sharp, clean line. For the bottom lash line, we used Black Eye Powder to create a softer, more smoldering definition.

Step 4: Show Out Lashes

No special event is complete without lashes. We applied LAMIK Show Out Mascara to give her natural lashes maximum length and volume.

Step 5: The Custom Canvas

We used her LAMIK Custom Blend Foundation and True Mineral Powder all over the face. This ensures the skin looks like skin, but better—flawless, even, and photo-ready.

Step 6: Sophisticated Sculpting

Instead of a bright blush, we kept it chic. We used a True Mineral Powder one shade darker than her skin tone and swept it right under her cheekbones. This creates a natural shadow that sculpts the face perfectly.

Step 7: The Signature Lip

We finished the look with a timeless nude lip. We lined her lips with Chocolate Lip Liner for depth and filled them in with a Light Nude Lipstick.
