The 10-Minute Pick-Me-Up

We all have those mornings where the energy is low and the "to-do" list is high. I always say: "When you’re feeling low, put a little color on your face." It’s amazing how a bit of pigment can shift your entire mood!

If you follow me, you know my makeup style is more basic than most artists. Between my work as a LAMIK Beauty Expert and managing my own life, I usually don't have more than 10-15 minutes to spend on my face. That is why I love LAMIK—the brand is built for the woman who doesn't have time to waste.

The "Lip Pop" Reality Check

The other day, I had a hectic morning and only managed to swipe on LAMIK New Day Lipstick before rushing out. An hour later, I caught my reflection and realized: A lip pop and no makeup don't match! To make that bold color look intentional and polished, you need a clean base.

I took a few minutes to finish the look, and it made all the difference. Here is the "Quick & Easy" breakdown:

1. The Essentials: Brows & Skin

You don’t need a full glam, but you do need the basics. I made sure to apply my Foundation, Powder, and Brows.

JT’s Secret: Every time I wax a client or do my own brows, I use LAMIK Soft Black Brow Define Color. It is the absolute best for finding and defining the perfect shape.

2. Multi-Use Eyes

When you’re in a rush, use your products for more than one thing!

I put a Pink Shimmer with a orange hue Contour Blush on my eyelids for a warm base.
I used Light Pastel Pink Eye Décor in the crease and blended it out with my Brighten Cream. Fast, simple, and effective.

3. The Crown

To complete my look, I’m wearing a Custom Color wig from the Sapphire Collection. A great wig and a great lip are the ultimate shortcuts to feeling beautiful when you're short on time.

Make a Statement (Fast!)

You don’t need an hour in the mirror to make a statement. Do a LIP POP, clean up your brows, and walk out the door with confidence.
