"For when I am weak, then I am strong."

If you had told me six months ago that I would finally be opening the doors to my own shop, I probably would have laughed. For 10 years, I’ve been planning this. I wanted every last detail mapped out, every "i" dotted and every "t" crossed. When people asked when I’d finally take the plunge, I’d tell them, "I want to, but I don’t know yet. I still need to figure things out."

I was waiting for the perfect moment. But I’ve learned that sometimes, the perfect moment is simply the moment you decide to trust God and yourself.

The Leap

When the opportunity finally came to take that leap of faith, I took it. At first, I kept it quiet. I didn't want to tell anyone because I was still processing the weight of it all. I told myself, "It’s okay. It’s time now."

Fast forward to today, and I am still okay. I am taking it step-by-step, day-by-day. I am using every tool and lesson I’ve gathered over the last 10 years of this journey. Every day brings a new lesson, and every day I grow. I know I will succeed and I will prosper because, just like when I first moved to Houston, this move is for me—on my terms.
