I wanted a simple look with just a little color. I used a light peach eye shadow on my eyelid, than lined them with a black eyeliner and added mascara.

I finished the look with LAMIK Glow Gloss and just a little foundation and powder.

Found abundantly in nature as a mineral, Silica is also produced synthetically for cosmetic use. Both forms are routinely used as an absorbent powder and thickening agent. In makeup, Silica's unique properties improve the even distribution of pigments, preventing them from settling and ensuring a smooth, flawless application.

Research has also shown that silica nanoparticles can enhance the absorption of other ingredients and serve as an effective delivery system for antioxidants. It can even improve the protective ability of the mineral sunscreen ingredient titanium dioxide. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration allows silica to be added to food as an anti-caking agent, and it has been ruled safe for use in a wide range of cosmetic concentrations by the independent Cosmetic Ingredient Review panel.
