Prom is a rite of passage. It’s a night of laughter, dancing, and celebrating the end of one chapter before the next begins. For most girls, finding the right makeup artist is just as important as finding the perfect dress.

I take Prom makeup incredibly seriously. Why? Because these photos will sit on mantels and in digital albums for decades. My goal is to give every "Prom Queen" who sits in my chair a look that remains elegant and sophisticated long after the dance is over.

For this beautiful graduate, I decided to focus on a "Boldly Simple" approach. She already had a stunning, well-defined face, so my job was simply to reveal her best features.

💄 The Look Breakdown

The Canvas: We focused on a flawless finish. Using LAMIK Foundation and True Mineral Powder, we created a skin-like texture that looks incredible both in person and under a heavy camera flash.
The Eyes: We used Does It Easy Eye Décor. It’s the perfect shade for a young woman—it provides just enough shimmer and depth to make the eyes sparkle without looking "overdone."
The Statement: We finished the look with Empowerment Lipstick. The name says it all! It gave her a boost of confidence to match her walk across the stage.
