Step 1: Brows
Fill in your brows with a color that matches your hair tone. For a great selection, check out LAMIK's brow products, which come in five shades. Then, apply a rose-pearl highlight after you use your sculpting cream for a defined, polished finish.
Step 2: Eye Makeup
Prime: Prime your eyelids with a concealer or an eye-shadow primer. I love using LAMIK's sculpting cream for this step, as it evens out the skin tone and helps your eye-shadow last all day.
Shimmer: Apply a shimmer blue all over your eyelids using a flat eye-shadow brush.
Contour: Contour your crease with a light matte green using a dome eye-shadow brush.
Blend: Use a fluffy eye-shadow brush to blend a soft pink between your upper eye crease and your brow highlight for a seamless transition.
Step 3: Liner
Line both your top and bottom lashes with a shimmer blue eyeliner. Use the same color you applied to your eyelid, which you can apply with a thin brow brush for precise control or a pencil liner.
Step 4: Lashes
Apply mascara to your top and bottom lashes for added drama. For an even bigger look, apply a medium-to-long strip lash. I love using LAMIK's Show Out Mascara because it really makes lashes pop!
Step 5: Face
Apply your foundation and set it with powder all over your face. Need help finding the perfect foundation and powder for your skin type? Set up an appointment with me to find your perfect match.
Step 6: Cheeks and Contour
Highlight your cheeks with a rose-bronze color. This is one of my favorites, and a similar shade will look great on you. Let me know if you need help picking one!
Step 7: Lips
Finish the look with a magenta lip color. For a shade this vibrant, I always use a liner to prevent feathering and create a clean, defined shape.
Ingredient Spotlight:
Red 6 Lake
Red 6 Lake is a synthetic pigment widely used to add color to cosmetics, food products, and skincare.
What You Need to Know
How it works: The term "lake" refers to a process where a pigment is transformed into a water-insoluble solution, usually with the help of a metallic salt.
This makes the color stable and effective in a variety of products. Safety: This ingredient is also known as D&C Red 6 Aluminum Lake.
The "D&C" designation means it has been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration for use in drugs and cosmetics, and it's considered safe for its intended purpose.
Always check the ingredients before using a new product. Your skin is the largest organ. Remember, some of what you put on your skin can be absorbed into your bloodstream
