Tip: Great for Green Eyes or when you wear green
This is a beautiful and sophisticated look, especially for people with green eyes, as the burgundy tone makes them pop. Here’s how to create the look.
Step 1: Brows
Fill in your brows with a color that matches your hair tone. Next, define and highlight your brows. Use your natural-colored concealer to shape the brow, then apply a concealer that is two shades lighter than your skin tone just under your arch to make it stand out. Try our the LAMIK Revelation Brow Duo.
Step 2: Eye Makeup
Base: Start by priming your eyelids with a concealer that matches your skin tone.
Color: Using an eye-shadow brush, apply a burgundy eye-shadow to your entire eyelid.
Blend: With an angled eye-shadow brush, blend a small amount of deep brown eye-shadow from your crease up toward your brow bone to add depth.
Step 3: Liner
Line your top and bottom lash lines with a true black pencil. For a softer look, you can also use a matte black eye-shadow applied with a flat eyeliner brush.
Step 4: Lashes
Apply a few coats of mascara to your lashes. For a more dramatic effect, consider adding a natural strip lash.
Step 5: Face
Before applying your foundation and powder, make sure to clean any fallout from under your eyes with toner and reapply your moisturizer. Then, apply your foundation and set it with powder.
Step 6: Cheeks and Contour
Apply a soft bronze-brown to your cheekbones. Use a contour blush brush to sculpt under your cheekbones with a matte brown for added definition.
Step 7: Lips
Finish the look by lining your lips with a natural brown lip liner and filling them in with a nude lip color.
Ingredient Spotlight:
Isoeicosane
Isoeicosane is a lightweight, non-greasy emollient that is commonly used as a Skin Conditioning agent in cosmetics. This clear, odorless fluid helps to soften and smooth the skin without leaving a heavy, oily residue.
Key Functions & Benefits
Emollient: Isoeicosane is highly effective at conditioning the skin, creating a silky and luxurious feel in a variety of products.
Solvent: It also works as a solvent, helping to dissolve and disperse other ingredients in a formula. This ensures a consistent, smooth application.
You'll find this versatile ingredient in many products, from creams and lotions to foundations and sunscreens. Its light feel makes it an excellent choice for a wide range of cosmetic applications.
Always check the ingredients before using a new product. Your skin is the largest organ. Remember, some of what you put on your skin can be absorbed into your bloodstream
