I'm tired of seeing posts that tell you what your brows should look like. My whole life, I’ve had to listen to other people’s opinions about my eyebrows, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

In middle school and high school, I was told my eyebrows were too big. I was so insecure that I started shaving them off completely. Then, in college, I got made fun of because they were too small. No matter what I did, it seemed like my brows were never "right" to anyone but me.

I finally realized something important: trying to please everyone is a losing game. You'll always be told you’re too something or not enough of something else. That’s why, nowadays, I wear my eyebrows exactly how they grow naturally, with just a little shaping.

It’s a simple choice that has taught me a powerful lesson. Your beauty is yours alone, and it's not up for public debate.

Derived from coconut oil and glycerin, this ingredient provides emolliency and beneficial fatty acids to the skin. It is a clear, non-viscous liquid known to improve a product's spreadability and can also be used to thicken a formula or enhance the penetration of other key ingredients. It is considered a gentle and effective moisturizer.

Deep Dive

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride is an excellent emollient and skin-replenishing ingredient. Its mix of fatty acids helps to replenish the skin’s surface, working to trap water and prevent trans-epidermal water loss. Through its emollient properties, it also works to smooth skin and leave it feeling soft.

While its chief job is to moisturize and replenish the skin, caprylic/capric triglyceride can also function as a thickener or penetration enhancer in skin care formulas and cosmetics. This ingredient's value for skin is made greater by the fact that it is considered gentle, even in high concentrations.

Despite what is often rumored on the internet, there is no research showing that caprylic/capric triglyceride is "comedogenic" or pore-clogging. This assumption is often tied to its relation to coconut oil. Safety assessments have deemed it safe for use in cosmetic formulations, with reported concentrations varying between 0.1% to 35%.

Always check the ingredients before using a new product. Your skin is the largest organ. Remember, some of what you put on your skin can be absorbed into your bloodstream
