Why a Great Bra is Like a Great Primer

We talk a lot about the "Billboard"—your face—but let’s talk about the foundation underneath! Finding the right bra is just like finding the right foundation shade: if you don’t know your size, you’re never going to get the right fit.

I’ll be the first to admit it—I hadn't been professionally fitted for a bra in years. Like I’ve shared before, my weight has gone up and down (from a size 8 to a 22 and back again!), so some of my bras fit and others... well, they definitely didn't.

The Wake-Up Call

At a LAMIK Beauty event, I met the team from Livi Rae Lingerie. When the representative measured me, I was shocked. Most of the bras I had in my drawer at home were either way too big or way too small!

I decided to order their "Dominique Molded Cup" in black. It arrived at my house in about a week and a half, and the moment I tried it on, I felt the difference. It fit wonderfully!

What I Learned (and You Should Too!)

Armed with the advice from the Livi Rae experts, I actually went shopping and felt so much more at ease. I finally knew what to look for! Here is my biggest takeaway: It doesn't matter how much you spend on a bra if it doesn't fit properly. A bra that fits doesn't just make your clothes look better—it changes your posture and your confidence level. It’s the "primer" for your entire outfit!

Get Measured Regularly: Especially if your weight has fluctuated like mine. Plus the wrong bra can lead to skin issues.
Quality Over Price: A cheap bra that digs in or gaps is a waste of money.
The "Billboard" Rule: Just like your brows frame your face, your bra frames your silhouette. Give yourself the support you deserve!
