Step 1: Brows
Fill in your brows with a color that matches your hair tone. Next, define and highlight your brows. Use your natural-colored concealer to shape the brow. Seal your brows with the LAMIK Clear Brow Gel.
Step 2: Eye Makeup
Base: Start by priming your eyelids with a concealer that matches your skin tone.
Color: Using an eye-shadow brush, apply a deep blue eye-shadow to your entire eyelid.
Blend: With a clean dome eye-shadow brush, blend from your crease up toward your brow bone to soften the edges.
Step 3: Liner
Line your top and bottom lash lines with a deep black pencil for added definition.
Step 4: Lashes
Apply a few coats of mascara to your lashes. For a more dramatic effect, consider adding a natural strip lash.
Step 5: Face
Before applying your foundation and powder, make sure to clean any fallout from under your eyes with toner and reapply your moisturizer. Then, apply your foundation and set it with powder. Use brushes to apply your product.
Step 6: Cheeks and Contour
Apply a soft brown-peach to your cheekbones. Use a contour blush brush to sculpt under your cheekbones with a deep brown for added definition.
Step 7: Lips
Finish the look by lining your lips with a natural tone brown lip liner and filling them in with a soft amber (light orange/peach) lip color.
Ingredient Spotlight:
Synthetic Wax
Synthetic Wax is a versatile ingredient derived from a mixture of various oils. It plays a key role in cosmetics as a Texture Enhancer and pH Adjuster/Stabilizer.
Key Functions & Benefits
Binding and Stabilizing Agent: Synthetic wax is excellent for binding other ingredients together and preventing them from separating. This helps to create a stable, consistent product with a smooth texture.
Texture Enhancer: By adding bulk and body to a formula, synthetic wax gives products a desirable feel and helps them spread more easily.
pH Adjuster/Stabilizer: It helps maintain the pH balance of a formula, ensuring the product remains effective and safe to use over its shelf life.
Always check the ingredients before using a new product. Your skin is the largest organ. Remember, some of what you put on your skin can be absorbed into your bloodstream
