While everyday makeup and runway makeup are different, you can easily translate one to the other if you have the right tools. Here is how I handled the pressure and the key products I used to elevate her look in under 5 minutes.
The Professional "Quick-Change" Breakdown:
1. Tame & Sculpt (The Brows)
The model already had heavy brows, so instead of adding color, I focused on structure.
The Tame: I used LAMIK Brow Gel and the groomer end of my LAMIK Power Brow Duo Brush to brush off excess color and set the hairs in place.
The Sculpt: I used the angled end of the same brush to apply LAMIK Elegance Sculpting Cream (in a shell tone) to highlight the brow bone.
JeTara’s Pro Tip: I love double-ended brushes! They are the secret to speed because you don't have to keep switching tools.
2. The Instant Smoky Eye
To give her eyes drama without a 20-minute blend:
The Color: I swept a French Lilac with a bronze shine, all over the lid and slightly into the crease using a flat eye shadow brush.
The Blend: To make it look seamless, I used a clean blender brush with a bit of LAMIK True Mineral Powder (skin-tone) to smooth the transition between the crease and the brow bone.
3. High-Definition Skin
Since she already had foundation on, I just needed to "brighten" her for the lights.
The Focus: I applied LAMIK Custom Blend Full Coverage Foundation (in a Warm Ivory) under the eyes for a clean finish.
The Light: I used a white highlighter on the very top of the cheekbones to catch the runway lights.
4. Contour & Flush
The Shape: For a quick contour, I used Blonde Brow Define Powder under the cheekbones. (Yes, brow powder makes an amazing cool-toned contour!)
The Pop: I added a Pink Shimmer Contour Blush right on the cheekbone for a healthy, vibrant glow.
5. The Runway Red Lip
Nothing says "Fashion Show" like a bold lip. We finished her look with a True Matte Red Lipstick. It was the perfect exclamation point to her 5-minute transformation.
💡 JeTara’s Timeless Truth:
"In the world of fashion, things move fast. You have to know which features to highlight to make an impact. Whether you are walking a runway in Houston or walking into a board meeting, a bold lip and a sculpted brow tell the world you’ve arrived."
Always check the ingredients before using a new product. Your skin is the largest organ. Remember, some of what you put on your skin can be absorbed into your bloodstream
