The "Natural" Bunny 🐰

It’s Thursday, and I’m looking back at one of my favorite transformations from Halloween! A client came to me with a specific request: she wanted to be a Bunny, but she didn't want the heavy, "cakey" costume makeup you see at the stores. She wanted to stay natural, cute, and flawless.

The result? Pure magic. Check out the photos below to see how we achieved this "High-Fashion Bunny" look!

The Transformation Secrets

The Base Hack: To give her that soft, "rabbit-like" glow without using heavy white paint, I used a LAMIK Foundation that was 6 shades lighter than her natural skin tone.

I used it to highlight heavily around her lips and the center of her face.
I applied it lightly over her entire face before her custom-blend skin-tone foundation. This created a subtle "filtered" look that lightened her complexion while still looking like real skin!

The Eyes: We kept the lids soft, but we let the bottom lashes do the talking! Adding emphasis to the lower lash line gives that wide-eyed, "innocent" bunny look that really made her eyes pop.

The Brows: Bunny or no bunny, you know my rule: You have to have Flawless Brows! We used the LAMIK Brow Kit to frame the face perfectly, because even a bunny needs a strong brow game.
