Weekend Ready: A Pink & Green Eye Transformation

Are you looking for a fresh look for the weekend? There is nothing like the "Total Beauty" confidence boost that comes from a professional brow shaping, a fresh set of lashes, and a custom eye makeover.

Today I'm sharing a recent transformation I did at the studio using some of my favorite LAMIK Beauty products. This look is all about fun, color, and precision!

The "Pink & Green" Eye Makeover

For this client, we wanted a look that was vibrant but wearable.

The Colors: I used LAMIK Eye Decors in Does It Easy (a soft, romantic pink) on the lid and Mula (a bright, bold green) in the crease.

The Technique: I applied these using a flat eye décor brush. What I love about LAMIK products is that they are talc-free and high in pigment, so a little goes a long way! If you want a bolder look, you can just layer more product.

The Definition: I finished the eyes with LAMIK Liquid Eye Liner in Onyx. Pro Tip: You don't always have to line both the top and bottom. Sometimes lining just one can make your eyes pop in a whole new way!

Lashes & Brows: The Foundation

A new set of lashes and a great brow shaping is the perfect "icing on the cake" for your weekend look.

Brows: We used the Dark Brown and Excellence LAMIK Brow Duo. I filled in and highlighted the brows first, then used the Brow Sculpting Cream from the duo as an eye color primer! It works perfectly to hold the shadow in place.

Lashes: My client requested a full look, so we used LAMIK "Some Length" Lashes. Since her natural lashes are short-to-medium, these gave her the perfect volume.

JeTara’s Pro Tips for Longevity

Prime the Canvas: Always base your eyelid with a brighten cream or sculpting cream before applying color. It helps the pigment "grip" and stay all day.
Protect Your Investment: Using a lash guard is a great way to keep your lashes clean and make them last longer. Just make sure to clean your lash guard after every use!
The Final Face: After your eye makeover, don't forget to finish the look with a Full Coverage Foundation and True Mineral Powder for a flawless, airbrushed finish.
