LAMIK at the Houston Black Expo

The Houston Black Expo is always one of the highlights of my year. It is such an incredible space for networking, community building, and celebrating Black excellence. This year was no exception!

The energy at the House of Blues was electric, and I am so proud that LAMIK was right in the heart of it.

VIP Treatment

This year, LAMIK took over the VIP section to do what we do best: Mini Makeovers. We had the pleasure of meeting so many phenomenal women and giving them a quick "Reveal Your Beauty" moment before they headed back out to network.

There is nothing quite like seeing someone’s face light up when they see their perfect brow shape or that signature LAMIK glow for the first time. It reminds me exactly why we do what we do!

I touched up this event guest with LAMIK Brow Kit in Eastside/K31, I added a little of LAMIK Brighter Day eye décor, which a pastel yellow with shimmer; under her brow for a different type of highlight.

These Queens both look absolutely stunning! ✨ But as an artist, I always want to keep it real with you.

I made a slight "pro mistake" on the right—I used LAMIK K30 Brighten Cream both under and above her brow. Because the event was in a dark room, it looked great in person, but the camera flash reveals everything! I should have used K32 on top for a more natural, seamless highlight.
