Many theatrical makeup kits, cheap Halloween powders, and even some everyday pressed powders rely heavily on Talc.

The Problem: Talc is a cheap filler that can clog your pores, irritate your skin, and give a dull, grayish cast—especially on deeper skin tones. For Halloween makeup, this means you might get the zombie look, but then wake up with actual zombie-like skin for days afterward!
