LAMIK Takes the Stage at "The Sessions" Fashion Show

In the world of beauty, LAMIK and fashion shows go hand in hand. When LAMIK sponsors a show, we don’t just provide the products; we provide the vision. We supply the kits for the makeup artists to ensure every model hits the runway with that needed glow.

At "The Sessions" Fashion Show, I had the absolute joy of running the LAMIK vendor booth. While the artists were backstage creating magic, I was out front sharing the LAMIK love with guests!

Backstage Pass: How to Keep it Clean

Backstage at a fashion show is high energy and high speed! With multiple artists using the same product kits on dozens of models, hygiene is the #1 priority. If you’re an artist working a show, here are my top tips for a clean station:

Sanitize Between Every Face: Keep 70% alcohol in a spray bottle to mist your palettes and pressed powders.
No Double Dipping: Use stainless steel spatulas and palettes to scoop out creams and lipsticks.
Disposable is Your Best Friend: Use single-use mascara wands and lip applicators for every single model.
Keep Brushes Fresh: Have a quick-dry brush cleaner on hand to sanitize your tools between models.

The artists backstage used the full LAMIK range to create diverse, high-fashion looks. Here are some of the standout combinations from the show:

The Bold Pop: Artists used Silver Rocks Eye Décor to give the models an "eye pop" that could be seen from the back of the room!

The Golden Glow: One of my favorites! The artist used Golden Girl Eye Décor down the model's nose and at the top of her cheekbones for a stunning, natural shine.

The Creative Crease: For a unique twist, an artist used Grapevine on the lid and Sugar Rum in the crease, finished with She Woman Gloss over Dramatic Lipstick.

The Classic Power: Really Red Lipstick paired perfectly with Crisp Eye Décor for that timeless runway elegance.

Denim & Diamonds: A model stunned in Denim n Diamonds Eye Décor paired with a soft Romantic Pink Lipstick.

Booth Beauty: Touching Up the Guests

While the models were walking, I was busy making the guests #lookLAMIK.

I love a quick transformation! For this guest, I did a light touch-up using True Mineral Powder and a pop of Lip Gloss to the center of her lips.

I even showed a fellow vendor how incredible our Full Coverage Foundation looked on her skin. Whether you're on the runway or running a business, LAMIK has you covered!

Even I had to get in on the fun! Check out my contour: I used I-10 Contour Blush under my cheekbone and Sugar Rum Eye Décor as a highlight on top.

Get the Look: A Step-by-Step Guide Ready to recreate this stunning makeup look? Here’s a breakdown of the products and techniques we used.
