I gave her our Denim and Diamonds and showed her exactly how to apply it to achieve a dazzling, yet sophisticated look. Ready to recreate it? Check out these photos and follow the steps below to get the look!
Step 1: Brows
Start by filling in your brows with a Dark Brown brow powder to create definition. Then, use Excellence Sculpting to highlight the brow arch and Significance Cream on the top of the brow to perfect the shape.
Step 2: Eyes
Apply the Denim with Shimmer Eye Shadow all over your lid, extending it up to your lower crease. Next, blend a Brown Bronze eye décor into the space between your upper eye crease and the brow arch, creating a soft transition.
Step 3: Liner
For the top lash line, use a Black Liquid Eyeliner for a precise, sharp line. For the bottom lash line, take your Duo Brow Brush and apply the same Denim with Shimmer Eye Shadow for a cohesive and smoky effect.
Step 4: Lashes
To complete the eyes, we used a cute set of Strip Lashes to give her a natural yet full look. To ensure everything blended beautifully, we brushed her lower lashes with Mascara.
Step 5: Face
To give her skin an extra contour and highlight, I applied a lighter-than-her-skin-tone full coverage foundation under her eyes and her tone custom blend foundation all over her face. I then used mineral powder to set her face. For an extra bright under-eye, I mixed a lighter-than-her-skin-tone mineral powder with a Bronze Brown Highlighter, blending it all the way to her lower lash line.
Step 6: Cheeks
Apply a Rosy Cheek Color to the apples of her cheeks and blend upwards along her cheekbones for a fresh, healthy flush.
Step 7: Lips
Finish the look by lining her lips with a Neutral Brown Lip Liner. Fill in with a Pale Brown Lipstick and top it off with a Glow Gloss for a touch of shine.
Ingredient Spotlight:
Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891)
Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891) is a naturally occurring mineral compound widely used in cosmetics. It's an essential ingredient found in everything from foundation to sunscreen, serving multiple key functions that benefit your skin.
How It's Used in Makeup
White Pigment: Its primary use is as a powerful white pigment. It provides exceptional opacity and brightness, making it a go-to for creating a wide range of shades. It is often blended with other pigments to achieve the perfect skin tone in foundations, concealers, and powders.
Physical Sunscreen: As a mineral filter, titanium dioxide is a key ingredient in physical sunscreens. It works by sitting on top of the skin and creating a physical barrier that reflects and scatters harmful UVA and UVB rays. This makes it a great choice for sensitive or breakout-prone skin.
Protects Pigments: Beyond its role in sun protection, it helps to protect other pigments in a formula from fading due to UV exposure, ensuring your makeup color stays true throughout the day.
Always check the ingredients before using a new product. Your skin is the largest organ. Remember, some of what you put on your skin can be absorbed into your bloodstream
