This stunning beauty queen came to LAMIK with one request: a fabulous color pop on her eyes for her birthday! She wanted a fresh, celebratory look that would definitely have heads turning. The result? Pure magic.

Here are the expert tips we used to create a vibrant, flawless colorful smoky eye that anyone can recreate:

Colors like greens and browns are a fantastic combination for a rich, colorful smoky eye, offering depth without being overly harsh.

1. Build the Color Slowly

Don't dive in with a lot of product! Apply the color lightly and build up the intensity in thin layers. Too much product applied at once will lead to excessive fallout under the eye, making cleanup hard and the final look messy. Patience is key!

2. Take Your Time to Blend

Blending is the secret to a professional finish. Take your time and make sure to seamlessly blend the colors where they meet. A fluffy blending brush is the perfect tool for this step, ensuring everything looks effortless and flawless.

3. Define the Eye Line

Even with bold shadow, definition is crucial. Use black eyeliner on both the top and bottom lash lines to perfectly frame the eye and make the colorful shadows stand out even more.

4. Clean Up Your Canvas

After applying your eyeshadow, you'll inevitably have some fallout. Before starting your base makeup:

Use a toner on a cotton swab to gently clean up any eyeshadow fallout under your eyes.
Ensure the skin is clear and clean before you move on to applying face primer or foundation.

5. Lashes Enhance the Look

Lashes are the finishing touch that truly enhances the pop of color. You don't have to wear long, thick lashes for this look. A small strip lash or even a few individual clusters will do the trick to open the eye without stealing the spotlight from the shadow.

To blend her brows with the highlights in her hair I lightly filled her brows in

with a mix of Dark Brown and Blonde Brow Powder.

A red lip will always look great with a Smokey eye.

Take your time and blend the colors. Don't just let them sit on the skin.

I based her eye lid with LAMIK sculpting cream to make

the colors pop more and help the color stay on better

To make her eye décor blend more I placed a golden color in her inside eye crease.

I used a light mineral powder under her eyes for an extra highlight.
