Here is my professional breakdown of the "Must-Have" brushes and exactly what they do.

1. The Foundation Brush (The Smooth Operator)

  • What it looks like: Typically flat or a dense "kabuki" style.

  • The Job: To buff your LAMIK Full Coverage Foundation into the skin.

  • Pro Tip: Use circular motions to "airbrush" the product in so you don't have any streaks.

2. The Angled Brow Brush (The Frame Maker)

  • What it looks like: Very thin with a sharp, slanted edge.

  • The Job: This is your best friend for Brow Mapping. It’s designed to pick up Brow Sculpting Cream and create those sharp, hair-like strokes.

  • Pro Tip: Always use the "spoolie" on the other end to blend your powder so the front of your brow stays soft.

3. The Fluffy Blending Brush (The Secret Weapon)

  • What it looks like: Soft, rounded, and loose bristles.

  • The Job: This is for your crease! When we use colors like Grapevine or Night Life, this brush ensures there are no harsh lines.

  • Pro Tip: Remember my golden rule: Blend, blend, blend! Hold the brush at the very end of the handle for the softest touch.

4. The Flat Eye-shadow Brush (The Pigment Packer)

  • What it looks like: Short, firm, and flat.

  • The Job: This is for "packing" shimmer colors like Golden Girl onto your lid.

  • Pro Tip: Pat the color on rather than sweeping it. This gives you the most "pop" and prevents fallout on your cheeks.

5. The Tapered Contour/Blush Brush (The Sculptor)

  • What it looks like: Medium-sized and slightly pointed or angled.

  • The Job: To place your Contour Blush exactly where it needs to go—right under the cheekbone and on the apples of the cheeks.
