Whether you are aiming for a spot on a show like The Sessions or entering the LAMIK New Year New You contest, how you carry yourself matters just as much as how you look.

Over the years, I’ve seen thousands of models walk through these doors. Here is my classic guide on how to navigate a casting call with grace and confidence.

📅 Before the Casting Call: Prep is Key

Research the Vibe: Is the casting for a high-fashion runway or a "New Year New You" lifestyle campaign? Dress and style your hair to fit the brand’s aesthetic.
The "Clean Canvas" Look: Most casting directors want to see your natural features. Arrive with a clean face or "no-makeup" makeup. Use a touch of LAMIK True Mineral Powder to cut shine and a swipe of Clear Brow Gel to keep your frame polished. Don't forget a little lip gloss.
