The result was a stunning, powerful look! Here is how we used the
LAMIK 7 Steps To Reveal Your Beauty to get this memorable, dual-identity look.
Getting the Look: Flapper Goth
Step 1: Brows – Bold and Defined
The 1920s look demanded a sharp, defined brow.
We used Soft Black brow powder from the LAMIK Revelation Brow Duo to create a dramatic shape.
The Elegance sculpting cream (also from the duo) was used to clean up the edges and highlight the brow bone for that crisp, defined finish.
Step 2: Eyes – Dark Drama
This step incorporated the deep, smoky mood of Goth with a touch of Flapper sparkle.
We applied a Deep Black with Sparkles eye décor all over the lid for intense color and texture.
To keep the eye from looking too heavy, we placed a Golden Eye color to highlight her inner crease, adding a subtle dimension and light-reflecting quality.
Step 3: Liner – Intense Definition
Liner is crucial for both styles—it frames the drama.
We used BLACK liquid eyeliner on the top lid for a clean, strong line.
We lined the bottom lash line with Black Eyeliner for added depth and intensity.
Step 4: Lashes – Volume and Texture
To ensure the eyes truly popped on camera and under event lighting, we needed maximum volume.
A thick strip lash was applied to the top lash line.
We used single lashes on the bottom lash line to create that exaggerated, doll-like intensity often seen in both 1920s and dramatic Goth makeup.
Step 5: Face – The Perfect Canvas
The base needs to be flawless to support such a dramatic eye and lip.
We used a full coverage foundation a shade lighter than her skin tone under her eyes for a brightening effect.
Her Custom Blend Full Coverage Foundation was applied all over the rest of the face.
We set the under-eye area with a lighter than skin tone true mineral powder and the rest of the face with her skin tone mineral powder to ensure an even, matte finish that lasts all night.
Step 6: Cheeks – Sculpted and Sharp
The contour added a sharp, dramatic definition typical of the 1920s era.
We contoured her cheeks with a darker than skin tone Mineral Powder placed directly under her cheekbones.
A highlight was applied on the top of her cheekbones to reflect light and lift the face.
Step 7: Lips – Classic Vamp
This step brought the dramatic color and deep pigment of the Goth influence.
We lined her lips sharply with Chocolate lip liner.
The entire lip was then filled with a deep red lipstick for that classic, vampy finish.
