When you are the host of a hit show like The Session, your makeup has to do more than just look good—it has to perform. I had the pleasure of welcoming the beautiful Chasity Bobino into the LAMIK studio to get her ready for the screen.

Chasity wanted a look that was fresh, vibrant, and ready for the bright lights of the set. We decided to go with a "Pink Radiance" theme, but with a special twist she was excited to try: Bottom Lashes.

The "Pink Radiance" Breakdown

To complement Chasity’s energy and skin tone, we leaned into a beautiful palette of pinks:

Eyes: A soft Light Pink Eye Décor to brighten the lids and make her eyes pop on camera.
Cheeks: A Pink-Red Contour Blush. This unique shade provides both the warmth of a blush and the structure of a contour, giving her face a sculpted, healthy glow.
Lips: We finished with a Berry Pink Lip Gloss for a hydrated, sophisticated shine.

The Secret to "Doll Eyes": Bottom Lashes

Chasity wanted to experiment with her look, so we added bottom lashes to create a more "opened" and dramatic eye. Many people are intimidated by bottom lashes, but they are the secret to that polished, "doll-like" runway look.

How to Choose Your Bottom Lashes:

Singles: These are individual hairs applied one by one. They are perfect for a very natural, "I was born with these" look.
Clusters: These are small groups of 3–5 hairs. They provide more drama and are much easier to see from a distance (or on a TV screen!).

💡 Professional Tip:

"When applying bottom lashes, always use a lighter touch than you do on the top. The goal is to enhance the eye's shape, not to make it look heavy. Pair them with a soft pink shadow to keep the overall look feminine and fresh!"
