The Secret to Enhancing Your Natural (or New!) Eye Color

I recently had a client come into the shop who had just started wearing blue contact lenses. Her biggest concern? She wanted a natural look that would make her eyes "pop" without the makeup overpowering the beautiful blue color.

When you have a standout feature like bright eyes, the goal isn't to compete with them—it's to complement them! I walked her through the LAMIK 7 Steps To Reveal Your Beauty, and the results were stunning.

Get the Look: The "Eye-Centric" Natural Glam

Step 1: The Brows We framed the face using Dark Brown Brow Powder and defined the edges with her skin-tone Brighten Cream. A clean brow draws attention straight to the eyes.

Step 2: The Lid To keep the look earthy and soft, I applied a Deep Brown with Shimmer Eye Décor lightly on the lid. The brown creates a beautiful contrast that makes blue tones look even more vibrant.

Step 3: The Secret Weapon (Liner) Here is the pro-tip: Skip the eyeliner on the top lid. Instead, use your LAMIK Brow Brush to line the bottom lid with Light Sea Blue Metallic Eye Décor. This pulls the blue from the eyes and reflects it, making them look incredibly bright.

Step 4: The Lashes We kept it clean and dramatic with a few coats of Show Out Mascara. Long, dark lashes act like a frame for the colored lenses.

Step 5: The Canvas I applied her Custom Blend Full Coverage Foundation and set it with True Mineral Powder. When the skin is flawless, the eyes become the focal point.

Step 6: The Cheeks To keep the focus entirely on her eyes and lips, we skipped the blush entirely. This keeps the face looking modern and fresh.

Step 7: The Pout We finished with a Soft Pink Metallic Lipstick, outlined with our Chocolate Lip Liner. The pink tones complement the blue eyes beautifully, while the metallic shine adds a touch of glamour.
