What does it mean to be an influential woman? For many years, I thought influence was about the titles we hold or the stages we stand on. But through my journey—from graduating from Paul Mitchell The School Austin to building my career in the heart of Houston—I’ve learned that true influence is much quieter and much more powerful.

Influence is the ability to empower the community around you. It is about reaching back as you climb and ensuring that the women you encounter in life feel more capable, more beautiful, and more seen because they met you.

Walking the Path of Empowerment

I am currently working every day to be that source of light for other women. Whether I am behind the chair, backstage at a fashion show, or volunteering, my goal is the same: to leave people better than I found them.

To me, an influential woman isn't someone who just "leads"; she is someone who builds a bridge for others to cross.

Empowerment isn't a solo sport. We lift the community when we focus on these three pillars:

Sharing Knowledge: I don't believe in "gatekeeping" beauty secrets. Whether it's teaching a mom a 5-minute makeover or showing a fellow MUA why LAMIK is a kit essential, sharing what I know is how I pour back into my community.
Creating Safe Spaces: The "Beauty Date" isn't just about makeup; it’s about connection. When we create spaces where women can talk, laugh, and be vulnerable, we strengthen the social fabric of our neighborhoods.
Leading with Kindness: The "K" in LAMIK stands for Kindness. An influential woman uses her voice to speak life into others. A simple "You look radiant today" can be the spark that changes a woman's entire perspective.
