I had the honor of participating in the Total Ladies Beauty Event, a powerful gathering dedicated to empowering women and raising vital funds for Breast Cancer Awareness.

It was a day filled with sisterhood, strength, and, of course, a lot of beauty! LAMIK was proud to host a "Brow Bar" at our vendor table, where we provided Brow Reveals for guests and shared tips on how to frame the face with confidence.

A Legacy of Support

One of the highlights of the day wasn't just the makeup—it was having my biggest supporter right there with me. My mother came out to the event to cheer me on, just as she has always done throughout my journey. Behind every "Reveal" I create, there is the foundation of love and support she built for me. Seeing her in the crowd reminds me why I do what I do: to build a legacy of empowerment.

The Artist’s Kit: Sanitation Station Essentials

When hosting a high-traffic "Brow Bar" at an event like this, professionalism is in the details. I often get asked how I keep things so clean while working fast. Here is my Sanitation Station Checklist for any professional event:

70% Isopropyl Alcohol: To sanitize my stainless steel palettes and tools between every guest.
Clean Brow Brush: I never use a dirty brush on clients. I clean my brush before, during, and after each client. I always have a quick dry brush cleaner with me.
Disposable Spoolies & Applicators: A fresh tool for every set of brows. No exceptions!
Professional Hand Sanitizer: Used in front of the client so they know they are in safe hands.
Clean Hands over Gloves: As a veteran artist, I always recommend sanitized hands over gloves. You need to feel the temperature and texture of the skin to get the perfect blend, and the human touch provides a level of kindness that a glove simply can't match.
