They say your skin is a reflection of what you eat and drink, and as someone who has struggled with skin issues my whole life, I know this to be a fact.
I was born with eczema, which means my skin is naturally very dry. If I don't take perfect care of it, I deal with painful breakouts that can even lead to bleeding. My journey is no different than yours; I had to learn the hard way how to keep my skin "right."
My mother taught me at a young age to Clean, Tone, and Moisturize twice a day. But as I grew in my career as an Esthetician, I realized that healthy habits aren't enough—you have to feed your skin the right nutrients to see a true "Reveal."
✨ Great Food for GREAT SKIN
If you want your foundation to go on smoother and your natural glow to pop, try adding these to your diet:
Dark Leafy Greens: Packed with antioxidants to fight inflammation.
Yogurt: Probiotics help balance your gut, which keeps your skin clear.
Ripe Tomatoes: Full of lycopene, which acts as a natural shield for your skin.
Berries: The ultimate "skin candy" for fighting free radicals.
Salmon: Healthy fats (Omega-3s) are the secret to that "lit-from-within" moisture.
π Healthy Skin, Vibrant Color
When your skin is healthy, you can play with any color! Here are three ways I’ve been styling my skin lately:
Look 1: The Tropical Pop I used YACHT PARTY Eye DΓ©cor on my eyes for a bold green moment, paired with I-285 Contour Blush on my cheeks. I finished with She Woman Lip Gloss for a high-shine, healthy finish.

Look 2: Simple & Defined For a clean day, I defined my brows with the LAMIK Brow Kit and lined my eyes with Blue Jeans Eye DΓ©cor. I smoothed my canvas using Custom Blend Full Coverage Foundation and True Mineral Powder, finishing with Capture Lipstick.
Look 3: The Ocean Breeze I kept it fresh by lining my eyes with Island Breeze Eye DΓ©cor and pumping up my lashes with Show Out Black Mascara.
π‘ JeTara’s Timeless Truth:
"Makeup is a celebration of your skin, not a cover-up for a lack of care. When you feed your body well, you’re giving your makeup a better canvas to sit on. Love your beauty enough to eat your greens!"
Always check the ingredients before using a new product. Your skin is the largest organ. Remember, some of what you put on your skin can be absorbed into your bloodstream
