📸 The "Camera-Ready" Prep Guide: 24 Hours to Glow
Drink plenty of water today! Dehydrated skin can look dull and make fine lines show up more in photos.
2. Gentle Exfoliation (Tonight)
Use a very gentle scrub or a warm washcloth tonight to remove any dead skin cells. This creates a smooth "canvas" for your foundation.
Don't forget your lips! Use a light sugar scrub so your lip color looks seamless.
3. Skip the "New" Products
Tonight is not the day to try a brand-new mask or a strong chemical peel. Stick to the products your skin already knows and loves to avoid any last-minute redness or breakouts.
4. Moisture is Key
After washing your face tonight, apply a generous layer of moisturizer. If you have a facial oil you love, add a drop or two to lock in that hydration while you sleep.
5. Beauty Sleep is Real
Try to get at least 7–8 hours of sleep. It helps reduce under-eye puffiness and keeps your eyes looking bright and clear for the camera.
6. Day-Of Prep
Clean Slate: Arrive with a clean, freshly washed face.
Light Moisture: Apply a very light moisturizer about 30 minutes before your appointment.
Button-Down Shirt: Wear a shirt that buttons up or zips. You don’t want to ruin your hair and makeup by pulling a t-shirt over your head after we’re done!
A Note from JT
"My goal is to make you feel like the best version of yourself. When your skin is prepped and ready, the makeup becomes the 'icing on the cake.' I can’t wait to see you in the chair!"
Always check the ingredients before using a new product. Your skin is the largest organ. Remember, some of what you put on your skin can be absorbed into your bloodstream
