The Costume Party Reveal

I’ll be honest—I don’t go out much. But when I got the call for a 70’s Theme Costume Party, I was super excited! Dressing up has always been a love of mine. It’s another way to "Reveal" a different side of your personality.

To get the look right, I called my girls at The Boutique to style me. They pulled these extra-cute pants and a stylish shirt that screamed "70s Hippie Chic." Once the outfit was set, I knew I had to play up my eyes to match the vibe while keeping my face absolutely flawless.

🎨 The "Retro Glow" Eye Routine

The 70s were all about earthy tones and expressive eyes. I used a mix of my favorite LAMIK shadows and—believe it or not—brow powders to get this look!

The Lid: I used MULA on my eyelid for a rich, grounded base.
The Crease: To add depth, I blended WESTSIDE Purdy Brow Define Powder into my crease. (Pro-tip: Brow powders make excellent matte transition shadows!)
The Highlight: I used SANDY BEACHES Eye Décor to highlight under my brow bone for that signature retro lift.
The Liner: Instead of a harsh liquid, I lined my eyes using EASTSIDE Purdy Brow Define Powder for a softer, smokey finish.

👁️ The "Retro" Lash Secret

I wanted my lashes to be a conversation starter, so I got creative: I mixed LAMIK Magic Wand Mascara with RETRO Eye Décor. This allowed me to define and color my lashes at the same time, giving them a custom tint that perfectly matched the 70s aesthetic.
