Working at LAMIK, I have the joy of meeting women who aren't just wearing makeup—they are making massive moves in the world.

I first met Dawn through our mutual friend Brandy while planning an "Eco Chic" event. We were focused on helping women live healthier lives, and through that success, I got to know the incredible spirit Dawn carries. I was surprised when I later learned she had moved to Austin to chase her dream at culinary school, but I knew she was exactly where she was meant to be.

The Voice Within

Dawn walked into LAMIK and filled the room with joy. She shared her story of moving to Austin and how listening to her "inner voice" was the best decision she ever made. But the news got even better—she is now taking an even bigger leap of faith.

Dawn is heading to Spain to complete the final part of her training to become a world-famous chef! Seeing her take this chance without looking back is so empowering. So many people are afraid to fail that they never even start. Dawn is proof that when you follow your passion, the world opens up for you.
